An international company in Malaysia is looking for Sever Systems Administrator responsible to support and maintain the company’s global servers and networks.
Key responsibilities include:
• ensures maximum system availability and smooth operations of production systems
• install, upgrade, configure and maintain servers as well as plan and monitor capacity of existing servers and propose improvements to systems
• manage system networking, network security and ensure server high availability uptime
• participate in event management, fault management, physical site management, performance management
• participate in planning and operation of server maintenance for hardware and operating systems
Key responsibilities include:
• holds Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
• preference 3 years and above working experience within the technical support function
• comprehensive knowledge of the Linux technical skill, including optimization, tuning and application interfaces with Windows experience as added advantage
• experience within network and security operations would be added advantage
• good communication skill in English and comfortable working with colleagues from other countries
