Job Responsibilities

  • Work with end-users and SAP/Software vendors to provide 1st level support  for SAP ECC 6.0 application, network support and infrastructure systems to resolve issues.
  • Support SAP system and DB administration such as performance monitoring, database security, database backup, user authorisation, transport request migration etc. ( basic training will be provided )
  • Conduct periodic DR exercises as required
  • Respond and resolve Support requests raised by users
  • Install and maintain client workstations
  • Deliver training to users
  • Handle General  MIS admin tasks such as   (a) IT equipment sourcing;  (b) review & maintenance of IT documentation;  (c) Support IT Helpdesk Portal to resolve support requests (d) participation in  IT Auditing / ISO processes
  • Ensure that Company’s applications adhere to company’s Information Technology policies, procedures, and standards
  • Handle and lead Ad-Hoc IT Projects as assigned by Supervisor


Job Requirements: 

  • Computer related diploma / degree in Computer Science with at least 5 years experience in IT support function role in an end-user environment.
  • 1 to 2 years hand on SAP basis experience in supporting users in end-user environment is preferred.
  • Experience in SAP basis and security administration, Sybase ASE database administration is preferred
  • Knowledge in ABAP programming is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of MS Windows Server (2008/2012) & OS platforms
  • Highly analytical and good troubleshooting skills
  • A responsible self-motivated, meticulous and resourceful team player with good organizational and communication skills
  • Self-initiative and can work with minimal supervision.
